Genevieve Leet K’11 is the first ever Kalamazoo College recipient of the Udall Scholarship, and one of 80 winners nationwide. The scholarship for environmentally interested students includes $5,000, an all-expenses paid trip to Arizona over the summer to meet with other Udall scholars, and nationwide prestige.

Last Friday evening, students gathered to listen to the influential political feminist Catharine MacKinnon speak about her specialty, sex equality issues under constitutional and international law. Once the Olmstead room was filled beyond its capacity, the crowd was moved to Dalton Auditorium.
