Just as students worry about the stability of institutional employment, Work Study, and potential jobs after graduation, staff and faculty—from Facilities Management employees to visiting professors—worry that their jobs may disappear.

Despite only getting his usual five hours of sleep, Darren Bain bounces around behind the counter at 8 A.M. on a Wednesday, showing off a 50-pound drum of chocolate from South America. The owner of the café/bar The Strutt has traveled to 65 countries testing and learning about products, so he’s not afraid to drop $2000 on good chocolate.
